BATIDA DJ set no Salão Brazil - Coimbra

A parceria inédita entre a Grama Software, Rádio Pessoas e o Salão Brazil trazem à Coimbra um dos importantes nomes da música urbana portuguesa contemporânea.

Pedro Coquenão, nascido no Huambo e crescido nos arredores de Lisboa, tem criado e desenvolvido trabalho com Rádio, Música, Dança, Artes Visuais e Plásticas sob o nome de Batida.

São raros os seus DJ Sets, num deles, em Londres, tornou-se o primeiro artista Português e Angolano a protagonizar uma sessão do Boiler Room. Somou 5, entre Londres, Paris e Lisboa. Quase todas com um microfone. Tem músicas e remisturas espalhadas por catálogos como a Soundway, Crammed, Fabric, BBE, Beating Heart, On The Corner Records ou a Lusafrica.

Gilles Peterson apresentou-o assim num especial dedicado na BBC 6 Music:
